We’re delighted to be nominated for Best Business Website in the Western Gazette Business Awards for the second year running. The awards recognise the best businesses in Somerset and Dorset.
Best business website
The website category rewards companies with websites that are easy to use, best in class and have relevant content for their audience. The Helliar Pest Control website is one of only three shortlisted.
Previously, Helliar Pest Control was just a section on our cleaning site, but we realised that pest control deserved its own standalone site.
Growing our website and business
Since it was launched in 2015, our website has gone from strength to strength. We’ve published over 25 blogs (in case you’re interested, the most popular one is How to spot an active wasp/hornets nest) and visits have doubled in the last year!
The website has no doubt helped us grow Helliar Pest Control, and we have recently been able to add a new member of staff.
We’ve also been nominated for Family Business of the Year for our sister company, Helliar & Son. We’re looking forward to finding out if we’ve won at the awards dinner on 15th June. Wish us luck!
