Yeovil Ales is a relatively new customer for Helliar Pest Control, having requested our services in August 2017.
Legislation and directives regarding pest control in the food production industry are very strict, and all businesses are required to have a pest control contract in place for the prevention, early detection and control of pests.
Helliar Pest Control installed six pest control boxes at Yeovil Ales’ site to control rodents. As part of our rigorous pest prevention programme, we make regular visits to check if there has been any pest activity around the boxes and, if there has, take appropriate measures. This could include increasing the number of boxes, or altering their location to maximise their effectiveness.
Dr Declan Teare, Head Brewer at Yeovil Ales, commented: “We chose Helliar Pest Control because they are a very local company, and Yeovil Ales aims to use local businesses wherever possible. Because they are local we can also contact them if we have a problem, and they will visit us. The Helliar company name is well established in the area, and this gave us additional reassurance when selecting our pest control contractor.”
